When we drive along the central business district (CBD) in
Jakarta which encompasses Thamrin, Sudirman, and Kuningan area, we will see the
sequence of office building chain which seems to be endless. The growth of the
office building occupation in Jakarta is predicted to be higher in 2013, and
will be followed by the increased rate of the Office Building Jakarta which can reach the rate of 10 – 15 % in the
first six months of 2013.
The growth of the office building occupation
The growth of the office building occupation in Jakarta is
predicted to be higher this year considering the economic growth and the
foreign investment flow which is also speeding up and is predicted to stay up.
By the growth of the economic side, there are a lot of foreign or local
investors which has the intention to expand their business to Jakarta. It means
that there will be a lot of brand new office which we can find in Jakarta.
The further prediction
There are some sectors which are predicted to occupy the office
buildings in Jakarta in 2013. Those sectors are banking, insurance, finance,
oil and gas industry, refresments goods, and commerce. It is quite clear that
the office buildings in Jakarta are mostly located in the CBD area. About 40%
of the buildings in Jakarta is located in the Sudirman area, 24% is located in
Kuningan, 13% in Gatot Subroto, 11% in Thamrin, and the rest of 12% spread in the
other area, but the possibility of the expansion of the CBD area is very open
regarding the economical growth which keep rising, and the
limitation of the land in Jakarta. The
east side of Jakarta is predicted to be the next CBD.
